Today at the Chiswick bootcamp in Sydney’s inner west we were once again confronted with the a cold rainy day.
Surprisingly (as usual) there was a good turnout again. Great stuff and thanks to everyone who continues to turn up rail hail or shine.
Given the downpour and the effect it had on the conditions, I changed the session plan from fitness boxing to kettlebell/bodyweight work, as this allowed us to stay in a relatively small area under some trees that provided a canopy from the rain.
When I am working as a Personal trainer or running bootcamps I often use kettlebells to mix things up as well as reap the unique benefits that kettlebells offer, however today’s session was a last resort as it was literally pissing down!
We started off with some swings/running combo, then the rest of the session looked something like this:
racked squat / jog - 2min each
bent over row / alternating body weight lunge combo x 2
OH press / BW squat combo 2 min x 2
high pull to squat / star jumps combo 2 min x 2
Bicep curl to double arm over head press / straddles combo 2 min x 2
Anyway , it has been a long time since i posted up in this blog as I have been busy moving and running the other side of the Sydney personal training fitness business.
